HDM Solar is a rapidly growing wholesaler of renewable energy products that supplies installers, businesses and consumers. The company secured a £10.2 million funding boost led by a multi-million-pound equity investment from Angel Invest in Berlin and supported by a working capital facility from DF Capital. HDM will use the financing and facility to accelerate rollout of a nationwide network of branches and to provide local support across the UK. The business plans to open sixty branches and is targeting five new sites to be operational by the end of the year. Management says the expansion will generate new jobs and make it simpler for homes and businesses to move toward net zero. HDM aims to become the UK’s leading renewable energy equipment wholesaler.
