Healistic is thought to be the UK's first business-to-consumer pharmaceuticals delivery service, bringing pharmacist-only medicines directly to patients' front doors. The startup raised £1 million from unnamed investors to introduce its product to market and serve the digital patient. It aims to deliver orders within 45 minutes of placement. Currently common medicines can be bought via on-demand players like Deliveroo and Getir, but Healistic targets pharmacist-only and OTC treatments for long-term chronic conditions that lack dedicated on-demand competitors. The company plans to expand its offering in future to include prescription medicines requiring a doctor's sign-off. Serial health entrepreneur Daniel Bulkin leads the company as CEO, and adviser Kevin Heath (former Boots executive board director) highlighted the asset-light model for fast geographic and service expansion.
