Overview

Founded in March 2016 by several returnee PhD founders in Beijing, Haosi Biotech has grown into a national clinical‑mass‑spectrometry leader with R&D centers in Beijing and Suzhou and a 6,800 sqm GMP production base in Taizhou. The company develops clinical chromatography‑mass‑spectrometry instruments, automated front‑end sample‑preparation devices, and clinical diagnostic reagent kits, and operates third‑party medical testing laboratories and proteomics/metabolomics research platforms. Haosi has launched three proprietary clinical testing products for early Alzheimer’s diagnosis, prostate cancer, and cardiovascular disease, and embeds reagent kits into its instrument systems to provide automated, closed‑loop workflows. The firm positions itself as the first in the industry to integrate upstream and downstream capabilities to form a closed clinical mass‑spec ecosystem, and collaborates with domestic and international universities and research institutes. Haosi plans to use new financing to advance clinical validations and registration filings, accelerate hardware R&D, and expand clinical market promotion to complete its R&D–product–market layout. Its business footprint covers hospitals nationwide, with third‑party labs in Beijing, Sichuan and Jiangsu. Haosi Biotech (Beijing Haosi Biological Technology Co., Ltd.) develops clinical mass spectrometry detection products and reagent kits for major disease areas, including early Alzheimer’s diagnosis, cardiovascular and urinary diseases. The company has pioneered several domestic and globally first clinical mass-spec products and operates third‑party testing labs in Beijing, Sichuan and Jiangsu. Its commercial model combines exclusive high‑value detection products with routine tests, led by IVD reagent kits supported by third‑party testing services. Haosi is building the Haosi‑Westlake Precision Medicine Center in Kunshan and collaborates with top institutions (Westlake University, Mayo Clinic platform, Tsinghua, Peking University, Vienna Medical University) to accelerate technology translation. The company also pursues upstream localization of mass‑spec hardware to produce a fully domestically sourced instrument platform at lower cost than existing mass spectrometers. Proceeds from the recent financing will be used to accelerate R&D, advance registration for Class II/III reagent kits and its self‑developed mass spectrometer, recruit technical talent, expand third‑party testing capacity and strengthen marketing and sales networks.
