HealthCare Impact Associates offers Health E(fx)™, a cloud-based Affordable Care Act (ACA) management information system that integrates employer HR data, validates data integrity, and delivers historical and predictive cost analytics. The beta release occurred in February and generated significant interest from large public and private companies, each with more than twenty thousand employees. Health E(fx)™ automates compliance, reporting, and audit capabilities and is designed to manage interfaces with state insurance exchanges and third-party systems. Pending government formatting guidance, the system also aims to automate employer reporting under IRC § 6055 and § 6056 and mandated employee notices. Beta customer programs run through spring and early summer, with a commercial product release planned for late June 2013. The company secured additional capital to support commercial rollout of the product.
