Fountainhead Foods sells the Health Sutra brand of millet products, focused on ready-to-cook breakfast foods using grains such as jowar; whole wheat biscuits have been launched and healthy snacks are planned. Its products are available in over 600 stores across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The company is bootstrapped and has taken an external investment of about Rs.70 lakh from Ankur Capital and Hyderabad Angels. Fountainhead plans to set up a new Hyderabad processing unit with capacity to process 150 tonnes of millets per month, up from its existing 15–18 tonne facility. The reported funds will be used to expand distribution, build the brand and introduce more products, while the company aims to grow its presence in modern retail and enter Karnataka and Maharashtra within 6–8 months. The founder said the company plans to raise $4 million in the next round within 18 months.
