HEARTio

Overview
HEARTio’s core product, ECGio, applies deep-learning analysis to standard 12-lead electrocardiograms to predict the presence, severity and location of coronary artery blockages without invasive testing. Early validation work includes a study in the Canadian Journal of Cardiology and a larger JACC Advances study involving more than 16,000 patients that supported the model’s ability to identify coronary artery disease from routine ECGs. The company emphasizes a headless API that uses pre-deployed ECG hardware and integrates software agents to surface subtle abnormalities for clinicians. Leadership includes co-founders Utkars Jain, Adam Butchy and Michael Leasure, with John Marous as Executive Chairman and two co-Chief Commercialisation Officers. HEARTio has public goals to complete a pivotal study, obtain FDA clearance, begin generating revenue, and expand its product suite to additional cardiac indications. The founding story is partly rooted in personal loss, and the team has received recognition including Forbes 30 Under 30.
