Hedera Hashgraph develops a hashgraph-based public distributed ledger platform aimed at enabling developers to build globally decentralized applications. The company plans to offer services including a cryptocurrency, file storage, and a smart contract platform. Leadership includes co-founder and CEO Mance Harmon, co-founder and Chief Scientist Dr. Leemon Baird, and President Tom Trowbridge. Hedera intends to launch its network and begin giving early access to some partners within the next month, and numerous distributed applications are already being developed for the platform. It also announced an accredited investor crowdsale targeted at raising $20M, with the verification process opening immediately and closing when the target is reached or on August 15th.
