Helix by HL offers a generative AI assistant that provides data-centric information for private markets benchmarking, forecasting, and diligence. The product is aimed at educating private wealth investors and their intermediaries on the asset class and current trends. Helix is a joint venture between TIFIN and Hamilton Lane, combining TIFIN’s technology with Hamilton Lane’s database and research library. Hamilton Lane’s database draws on more than $16.7 trillion in private market commitments across 51 vintage years (as of September 30, 2023). The company was originally announced in June 2023 and is based in Boulder, Colorado. Helix intends to use the new funding to accelerate product development, enhance platform features, and expand its market presence.
