Based in Cologne, hellgrün Energie offers a fully integrated 360° service that covers planning, financing, installation and operation of rooftop photovoltaic systems for supermarkets, logistics centers and other high-consumption commercial buildings. The company targets asset managers, real-estate investors and corporates that want to decarbonize their properties without becoming energy suppliers themselves. To date, hellgrün has completed more than 100 PV installations and leverages this experience to accelerate large-scale rollouts. Backed by a network of angel investors, the firm now aims to deploy over 100 MW of installed capacity by 2027, cutting thousands of tons of CO₂ annually. Its long-term vision is an economically viable, fossil-free energy supply for commercial properties. The recent €1 million infusion strengthens its balance sheet and supports rapid expansion across large real-estate portfolios.
