Hello Watt offers a free app that ingests Linky and Gazpar data to let users monitor electricity and gas consumption in euros, kWh and CO2. The platform analyzes usage to recommend energy‑efficiency works, coordinate those projects with qualified artisans, and propose efficiency products. Founded in 2017, the startup says it has helped more than 600,000 clients and currently employs about 180 people. According to the company, users of the app cut consumption by 15% on average last winter versus a 7% national reduction during the energy crisis. After six years of profitable, self‑financed growth supplemented by bank loans, Hello Watt has taken external capital to scale. Planned uses of the new funding include hiring more than 100 people over the next 12 months, expanding its service into additional European countries after a 2023 launch in Spain, and launching solar self‑consumption installation services.
