Helu is a Vienna-based financial reporting and due diligence management platform that simplifies accounting data for CFOs at SMEs and M&A advisors. Founded in 2020 by former Speedinvest partner Franz Salzmann, the product grew from tools the founder wished he had as an investor. Helu leans heavily on DATEV to streamline multiple financial datasets into a single, customizable dashboard. From that dashboard users can drag and drop accounts to create P&L statements, cost-center views, marketing analyses, and debtor and creditor reports down to the lowest booking level. The company raised $5 million in seed funding to support its product development and growth, backed by Atlantic Labs and several angel investors.
