HempStreet develops ayurvedic, cannabis-based medicinal formulations targeting chronic pain, menstrual health and related conditions. The company says its products have shown high efficacy for dysmenorrhea and also address anxiety, hypertension, sexual health and digestive disorders. It collaborates with more than 20,000 doctors across India and has partnerships with MGC Pharma (UK), Gynica (Israel), Amrita School of Ayurveda (India), UIDI (Brazil) and Cannabis 360 (Brazil). Founded in 2019, HempStreet plans to increase involvement in clinical trials for its proprietary formulations and to establish a presence in the menstrual cramp and pain treatment markets. The new funding will also support R&D for the next generation of ayurvedic products. Financially, the company has now raised $1M in this pre-Series A and has received $3M in total funding to date.
