Hepta Airborne
Teaduspargi tn 6/1, Tallinn, Harju, 12618, Estonia
Overview
Hepta Airborne offers end-to-end power-line inspection and analysis, combining multisensor data capture (drones, helicopters, satellites) with its uBird software that automatically detects defects. The company says uBird converts more than 250 km of power-line data into actionable results in five minutes, a task that can take a single engineer 30 days manually. Hepta reports accuracy improvements of more than 33% over conventional methods and, in some cases, up to 400% increased fault detection. Their drones are designed for strong-wind operation (20 m/s and above) and can fly up to three hours with necessary payloads. Hepta was created in 2017 and is based in Tallinn. The company has long-term plans to build digital twins across infrastructures by adding humidity, soil, and weather data to simulate real-life conditions and predict future scenarios.
