Hera
920 Broadway, New York, NY, 10010, United States
Overview
Hera combines an AI platform called Juno with a network of dedicated senior care experts—called Heroes, typically nurses and licensed social workers with geriatric experience—to manage non-clinical but essential caregiving tasks. Juno encodes tacit, local healthcare knowledge (for example provider availability, Medicaid approvals, and community resources) and learns from outcomes across families to improve recommendations. Since launching about a year ago, Hera has served ongoing care coordination for over 1,000 families with 95% retention. Hera works with referring physicians at major health systems including Weill Cornell, NYU Langone, Mount Sinai, USC and UCSF, and eligible Original Medicare beneficiaries access Hera's services at no out-of-pocket cost. The company is expanding geographically and hiring as it scales toward a goal of operating in 25+ states by year-end.
