HiDef Inc. is a San Diego-based video game company building a flagship metaverse title that the company describes as genre-defining and focused on putting users at the creative center of daily programming. The core product is a flagship video game/metaverse aimed at users of all ages. The company intends to use new funding to continue ramping up development of that flagship title. HiDef raised $7.5M in a Series A and has now raised more than $9M in total. The leadership team includes CEO Anthony Castoro, Chief Creative Officer Jace Hall, Chief Business Development Officer Rick Fox, and Chief Impact Officer Dr. David Washington, each with extensive experience in gaming, entertainment, and social impact. As part of the financing, George Toulson from Wick Capital Partners will join HiDef’s board.
