Hitwicket is a multiplayer cricket mobile game developed and operated by Metasports Interactive. Since launch the game has built a player base of over 18 million users across 109 countries. The company plans international expansion and aims to grow nearly 8x over the next 18 months through priority market expansion, AI-led targeting, and further product development. Financially, Metasports recently raised $20 million in non-dilutive user acquisition funding from Metica and previously raised $8 million from Prime Venture Partners and Horizon Ventures. Metica will also provide a technology platform intended to improve in-game revenue performance and unit economics. The company was founded by Kashyap Reddy and Keerti Singh and is backed by cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle.
