Overview

Hivery offers an optimization platform for retailers that helps select the right mix of products and place them on shelves through data-driven, space-aware assortment recommendations. Its SaaS products include Hivery Curate, which recommends store-by-store product placement accounting for capacity, merchant rules and visibility, and Hivery Enhance, which recommends space and assortment for vending machines in the U.S. and Japan. The company is beta-testing Hivery Promote, which generates promotion calendars by learning from sales data while considering supplier constraints, prices and promotion types. Hivery aims to shorten the traditional six-month category reset cycle and enable hyper-local retailing between brands and retail buyers. The company reports $8 million in annual recurring revenue, counts 20 of the top 25 consumer packaged goods manufacturers as clients, and says it is on track to more than double its client base in 2023 while growing its team to over 150 people in the next 12 months. Founded in 2015 out of work with CSIRO Data61, Hivery plans to use new funding to expand its product suite and support brick-and-mortar decision-making amid retail industry headwinds.
