Hockeystick.co provides a financial data platform that helps private equity funds, lenders and private companies capture private company data and measure portfolio performance. The platform ingests data from Excel, web forms, documents and accounting software like Quickbooks and transforms it into structured data for LP reporting. Incorporated in November 2014 by Raymond Luk (CEO) and Clint Sieunarine (CTO), the company is based in Toronto, Canada. To date, over 10,000 private companies and both debt and equity funds have adopted the platform. Hockeystick raised $600k in seed funding in its first outside capital raise. The company will use the funding to grow its data science team and add new data integrations to the platform.
