Holachef is a Mumbai-based food-tech startup that delivers home-cooked meals. Launched by Saurabh Saxena and Anil Gelra two years ago, it offers about 50 signature dishes daily with an average order price of Rs 310 per person. The company says it is available in over 100 PIN codes across the metropolis and in a handful of PIN codes around Powai. Holachef reports growth from about 2,000 orders per month in 2014 to over 1 lakh orders per month in 2016. Roughly two-thirds of its orders come through its Android and iPhone mobile apps. Investors in the business include Kalaari Capital and Ratan Tata, and the firm previously raised Rs 20 crore in a Series A led by Kalaari.
