holo|one develops Sphere, an XR productivity and collaboration platform for enterprise that overlays holograms on the real world to enable avatar-based remote collaboration. Sphere is positioned as an out-of-the-box solution covering remote assistance, digital collaboration and workflow guidance across industries. The company says Sphere does not require heavy customization and has been tested in productive environments. holo|one plans to use the new funding to further develop Sphere and accelerate adoption in enterprise settings. The company highlights a solid customer base and strategic partnerships—notably a multi-year collaboration with Lenovo’s ThinkReality team. holo|one was founded in 2016 in Lezburg (AG) and is incorporated in Switzerland and in Santa Clara, California. Holo one has officially launched Sphere, an augmented-reality platform the founders aim to make a standard for enterprise AR. The company was founded by Sven Brunner and Dominik Trost. Alongside the product launch, Holo one announced expansion of its sales operations, opening a Berlin office and moving into Asia. SinoSwiss Holding is providing 400 square meters of office space in Chongqing for three years and assisting with investor and distribution partner searches. Financially, Holo one closed a seed financing round providing roughly CHF 1.2 million in equity. Investors named in the round include Aargauische Kantonalbank and multiple members of the Business Angels Club Aargau. The company plans to use the funding and new international presence to grow distribution and partnerships in Europe and Asia.
