Holoride
Schellingstraße 45, Munich, Bayern, 80799, Germany
Overview
Holoride develops an in-car extended-reality media platform that matches headset visuals to a vehicle’s movement to reduce motion sickness and enable interactive experiences. Its technology includes localization/positioning software and an Elastic SDK that lets content adapt to travel time and routes. The company works with content creators and partners (for example Schell Games) to produce gaming, educational and entertainment experiences for passengers. Holoride launched at CES in 2019 and is Munich-based. The company plans a summer 2022 launch for private passenger cars and will release tools to help developers build car-specific content. Holoride will use the Series A proceeds to recruit developers and other talent as it expands into Europe, the United States and Asia.
