HDS Global (Home Delivery Service) develops RoboFS, a patented, AI-based robotic fulfillment system designed for touchless, high-throughput ecommerce order fulfillment. The company pairs automation, AI software, eco-friendly delivery totes and free home delivery to serve fresh groceries and broader general merchandise. HDS has created a novel user experience customized to individual dietary needs, preferences, and brand favorites. It is headquartered in Palo Alto, CA, and is building a RoboFS demonstration center in Indianapolis to showcase its system. Leadership includes founder and CEO Louis Borders; the company says its design and deployment have been guided by an advisory group of corporate and individual investors. To date HDS reports $38 million raised from partners and industry leaders and is pursuing rapid rollout of its technology prior to seeking venture funding.
