Through its free HomeTruth AI Advisor, the company engages homeowners to upload energy certificates, surveyor reports and renovation records, enriching the dataset with consented ground-truth information. The advisor answers questions such as the ROI of installing solar panels or projected energy bills, while each query further enhances HomeTruth’s data corpus. This verified data layer is then packaged for banks, insurers and other stakeholders who currently struggle with opaque risk profiles, outdated valuations and fraud. By reducing mispricing and improving transparency, the startup targets a £60 billion market opportunity across home insurance, lending and green energy upgrades. HomeTruth graduated from proptech investor STYX’s Living Lab and currently carries a $4 million valuation. The founders are hiring additional talent, including a CEO, to scale product development and commercial partnerships.
