The technology aims to deliver GPS-like precision without the cost or battery consumption of GPS, supporting battery life of up to 10 years in the field. Target use cases highlighted include ports, vehicle dealer yards, parking lots, cattle ranches, and other asset-dense environments. The company launched publicly and announced $1.5 million in funding to further grow the business. hoopo is based in Ra'anana, Israel, and has a presence in Santa Monica, California.
