hopOn is a social travel booking service based in San Francisco, led by CEO Jade Van Doren and CTO Doug Morgan. The platform lets users book flights from 400+ airlines and choose from 170,000+ hotels, and create and share triplists containing flights, hotels, and shared expenses. Recipients of a triplist get their own editable copy so everyone can book their flight, hotel, or pay for group travel expenses. Features include built-in chat, visibility into flight information and booking status for everyone on the trip, and social seat selection to pick seats next to friends or colleagues. The company publicly launched and closed a $750k seed round led by New Enterprise Associates.
