Overview
House of GreenTech LLC is a Stockholm-based trading house that sources and sells green technology and clean energy products and solutions. The company began U.S. operations in Baltimore, Maryland on January 1, 2010 and plans to rapidly build up and expand in the U.S. market. It will rely on its parent company, SALESGEN, to line up Scandinavian suppliers for sales in North America. Financially, House of GreenTech secured SEK 5m (approximately US$714,000) from undisclosed Swedish investors, bringing its total seed capital to $1.1M. In conjunction with the funding, entrepreneur Katarina Bonde was appointed Chairman of the Board alongside SALESGEN president Anders Torelm, House of GreenTech president Peter Selemark, former U.S. Ambassador to Sweden Thomas L. Siebert and IT entrepreneur Par Arvidsson. The company has set a goal of reaching $70M in revenues by 2015.
