Founded in July 2020 and based in Xuancheng, Anhui, Huasun specializes in R&D, production and sales of high-efficiency silicon heterojunction (HJT) cells and modules. The company supplies HJT wafers, cells and modules to module manufacturers and power-station operators both in China and abroad. Huasun reports strong process metrics on ultra-thin silicon: 130µm wafers with yields above 95.5%, 110µm and 120µm mass-production processes stabilized with yields above 95%, and 100µm wafer mass-production testing underway. Management plans accelerated construction at production bases in Xuancheng, Dali, Wuxi and Hefei and expects to achieve roughly 20GW of cell capacity and 20GW of module capacity within the year. The company is pursuing advanced R&D including HJT–perovskite tandem cells alongside capacity expansion. Recent fundraising has been directed toward continued HJT product scale-up and front‑end technology development.
