Overview
Hubble Therapeutics LLC is developing HUB-101, a gene therapy program targeting KCNJ13-driven retinal dystrophies LCA16 and Snowflake Vitreoretinal Degeneration to address pediatric blindness. The treatment was developed by Dr. Bikash Pattnaik at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and licensed from the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF). HUB-101 has received FDA Rare Pediatric Disease and Orphan Disease designations. The company has partnered with Andelyn Biosciences and Virscio to develop, manufacture, and run IND-enabling studies. With new financing, Hubble aims to scale up manufacturing and complete IND-enabling work to enter clinical testing.
