Huddle Corp builds aquafeed products using proprietary encapsulation technologies that preserve nutrients during manufacture and enable controlled nutrient release and optimized absorption in the animal gut. The technology is designed to improve digestibility, support the immune system and microbiome, and reduce the need for antibiotics. Founders Abdeslam El Harrak and César Crétel launched the company in November 2018 and initially self-funded early R&D and trials. Trials in rainbow trout produced a company-reported 30% improvement in development and survival; the company has filed six patents for its technology. Its first two products, Huddle Bio Hatch and Huddle Early Sup, target freshwater and marine fish hatcheries in France and Europe, with stated global ambitions. The company raised €1.5 million to scale up for the aquaculture market and plans to expand its product portfolio to other species (including monogastrics) and potentially the pet food sector.
