Huddler
525 Market St, Ste 200, San Francisco, CA, 94105, United States
Overview
Huddler offers a white‑label solution to help publishers migrate and modernize legacy online forums, adding product reviews, image hosting, wiki functions, user image galleries and specialized search alongside visual redesigns. The startup has spent a year in private beta with 24 publishers using its technology, including EpicSki, ChefTalk, DenimBlog and Head‑Fi. Founder Dan Gill says many forums still attract large membership and traffic but lag in features and interface, and Huddler positions its product to address that gap. Huddler claims its model will increase search traffic for publishers and enable monetization. The company plans to monetize migrated communities through display advertising and affiliate marketing. To date Huddler has raised $5 million in funding from NEA.
