Huitongda is a Nanjing-based rural e-commerce and logistics service company focused on household appliances such as air conditioners, TVs, refrigerators, washing machines and kitchen goods. The company combines online and offline sales (B2B, B2C and O2O) and targets township and county-level markets. It operates branches across Jiangsu and parts of Shandong and Anhui, and reports coverage of 18 provinces and more than 15,000 towns. Huitongda’s network includes over 5,000 downstream rural distributor outlets and more than 80,000 franchised stores, and it says it has trained 3,000+ retail outlets and created some 400,000 jobs for farmers. The company is a subsidiary of Jiangsu Five Star Holdings and previously raised four funding rounds totaling US$286.86 million.
