Hum Capital

530 Fashion Ave Rm 405, New York City, New York, 10018, United States

Overview

Hum Capital’s core product is an AI-driven marketplace and navigation engine that ingests financial data from over 100 SaaS systems (including QuickBooks, NetSuite and Google Analytics) and matches companies to roughly 250 institutional investors. The platform surfaces and lets founders compare financing options—venture debt, traditional VC, revenue-share and others—so they can pick the option that best fits their goals. Hum is free for startups and investors to use for data sharing and charges a 2% marketplace fee on capital raised when deals close on the platform. The company reports an average deal size of $6.4 million and can help founders access checks up to $50 million; the platform has facilitated more than $400 million in capital transactions across 150 fee agreements. Adoption spans 46 states (nearly half of users are outside California and New York) and customers include SecurityScorecard, Evolv AI and Flaviar. CEO Blair Silverberg positions Hum as restoring optionality to fundraising, though he acknowledges limitations—heavy reliance on data could leave some early, vision-driven startups without options.
