Humaans
Office 7 35-37 Ludgate Hill, London, England, EC4M 7JN, United Kingdom
Overview
Humaans builds a customizable HR stack that stores employee documents and data, manages payroll and contracts, and automates onboarding, offboarding and other people-operations processes. The platform tracks probation periods, headcount changes, tenure, salary spend, PTO and expiring IDs, and integrates with tools via connectors for Slack, DocuSign, Okta, Greenhouse, Google Workspace, Pento, Contractbook and Workable. Founded in 2020 by Giovanni Luperti and Karolis Narkevicius, the London-based startup serves customers including Pleo, Fidel API, Manyone, Pento and Birdie. Humaans plans to consolidate its U.K. presence and expand into the broader EU while investing in product development and hiring. The company declined to disclose revenue or headcount but said it has healthy runway following recent fundraising. Humaans emphasizes faster, more efficient data access at scale and reducing duplication across HR and IT systems. Humaans builds a central hub for employee onboarding and management that integrates with best-in-class HR SaaS. The platform automates onboarding, off-boarding and compensation management with workflow builders likened to IFTTT or Zapier. Humaans positions itself as an integration layer for the HR stack rather than an all-in-one suite and aims to be “the Slack of HR.” The company says it grew 3x in the past few months and is used by distributed companies such as Pleo, ChartMogul, Bombinate, HeySummit and Pento. Humaans plans to accelerate product development and continue building infrastructure for employee data across the HR stack. It was founded by former Qubit employees Giovanni Luperti and Karolis Narkevicius and was initially bootstrapped before raising external capital.
