Humanity.com provides a cloud-based workforce-management platform used for scheduling, labor and sales forecasting, performance evaluations, identity management, time and attendance tracking, payroll reporting, leave management and secure communications. The product is accessible via web and mobile; employees can view schedules, request shift swaps and use new secure messaging features. Humanity has added integrations with third-party payroll providers and recently rolled out a secure messaging application on its platform. The company strengthened its advisory board with three Silicon Valley executives and maintains a development office in Belgrade, Serbia. Financially, Humanity announced a $9 million Series B to build out the platform, following a prior $3.2 million round in September 2014. The company was previously known as Shiftplanning.
