Hume develops fully in‑house virtual artists called metastars, supported by writers, producers, animators, vocalists and marketing teams. Its community-driven approach blends music, digital identity and storytelling so fans can directly influence artist decisions via NFTs. The company debuted the world’s first metastar in 2021 and launched web3 artist angelbaby, whose single and NFT activity reached #1 on OpenSea, Audius and Fluf World collections. Hume recently released the Hume Genesis NFT collection (1,035 tokens across three rarity tiers) which grants holders governance rights over future metastars. The firm plans to use new funding to build a roster of metastar artists, launch a fan-to-metastar engagement platform called “The Spot,” and expand engineering, creative, music-business and marketing teams.
