Founded in 2014 by Sameer Seth, Floyd Cardoz, and Yash Bhanage, Hunger Inc runs popular Mumbai restaurants Bombay Canteen, O Pedro, Veronica’s and Papa’s, publishes a food magazine, and retails Indian sweets and chocolates through Bombay Sweet Shop. Bombay Sweet Shop now accounts for more than half of group revenue and generates Rs 8–9 crore in monthly sales via five retail stores, 18 dark stores, its own site and aggregator partners Swiggy and Zomato. In FY 2025 the company posted Rs 115 crore in revenue with a 9% EBITDA margin and is projecting Rs 150 crore for FY 2026. The firm plans to use new capital to expand production facilities and supply-chain infrastructure while launching a flagship Bombay Sweet Shop in Delhi within 12–18 months. Hunger Inc is also ramping up B2B and institutional distribution, already supplying Starbucks, Oberoi Hotels and IndiGo airlines. The company emphasizes a team-oriented work culture across its growing multi-brand platform.
