Hungry Planet produces a broad range of chef-crafted, 100% plant-based meats across categories including chicken, pork, beef, lamb, turkey, crab, chorizo, breakfast sausage and Italian sausage. The company emphasizes non-GMO ingredients and claims superior taste, texture and nutrition versus conventional meat and other plant-based options, with products packed with protein and fiber and fewer calories and less (no saturated) fat. Hungry Planet has sold over 4 million servings globally during a multi-market pilot that included foodservice and retail. It is rolling a broader retail launch across the U.S. and Singapore while maintaining traction in foodservice. The company says the new funding will be used to build capacity for its product range and to accelerate growth across retail, foodservice and e-commerce channels domestically and internationally.
