Hycroft Mining is developing the Hycroft Mine and operates in the precious‑metals mining sector. The company has arranged a private placement to raise capital to advance mine development and to shore up corporate operations and working capital. The placement involves nearly 14 million units priced at $4.2805 each, with each unit consisting of one common share and half a warrant to buy additional shares. Mining financier Eric Sprott and Tribeca Global Natural Resources are leading the placement. Under the deal Sprott’s stake will increase from 21% to 33% and Tribeca will hold about 8% after taking roughly a third of the new units. The attached warrants could provide additional funding if exercised and the transaction is expected to close by September 10.
