Hydra Studios operates a network of elevated wellness studios that provide private suites for exercise, meditation, and recovery, combining luxury amenities with COVID-19-focused features such as HEPA filtration, upgraded ventilation, and antimicrobial surfaces. Amenities include Peloton and MIRROR workout systems, TRX, mats and weights, rainfall showers, steam rooms, infrared sauna, vanity stations, and experiential retail featuring predominantly sustainable, female-founded brands. The company also offers a library of on-demand custom classes led by world-class trainers. Hydra plans to open a flagship in Lower Manhattan in January 2021 and aims to expand its studio network and make key hires to support growth. The company raised $3.8M in seed capital to support the flagship, future expansion, and hires. Co-founded by former Goldman Sachs colleagues Marie Kloor (CEO) and Dan Nielsen (COO), Hydra has already operated a private studio at Convene's 530 Fifth Avenue and entered an agreement with Silverstein Properties to open at 120 Wall Street in New York.
