HYFIX is developing a highly integrated system-on-chip that consolidates flight control, high-accuracy positioning, secure wireless communications, and onboard intelligence for drones and robots. The chip is designed for low power use, GPS-degraded or denied environments, and supports open-source ecosystems including ROS 2, ArduPilot, and PX4. It delivers centimeter-level positioning via native integration with the GEODNET Real-Time Kinematic network and emerging LEO satellite systems. HYFIX plans to manufacture its SoC in the United States and deliver production-ready chips to select customers this year. The company is also building a sub-250g reference drone to demonstrate the platform, with shipments planned later in the year. HYFIX emphasizes reshoring critical hard-tech innovation and reducing supply-chain reliance on foreign components.
