Hymeth has developed a patented alkaline electrolysis platform that achieves 84% (HHV) efficiency without using rare or costly materials. The company’s initial 25 kW system is ready for field deployment, and 250 kW units are planned for industrial replacement and broader energy nodes. The recent €3.7M funding will support commercial rollout of the technology and continued product development. Hymeth aims to drive industrial decarbonization in the Nordics and beyond by delivering cost-effective, energy-efficient electrolysers. The investment also secures a defined employment strategy and enables development of strategic partnerships with utilities, industrial clients, and other stakeholders.
