HyOrc develops modular waste-to-methanol facilities that convert local waste (refuse-derived fuel) into green methanol. The company is constructing an 8 tpd commercial facility in Porto through phased modules, beginning with a 1 tpd unit targeted for shipment in September 2026. HyOrc’s technology has been independently validated by Bureau Veritas and the firm cites operational experience with a 25 tpd industrial gasifier in Coimbatore (2025) and a 3 tpd commercial unit in Assam (May 2026). The Porto project is intended as a replicable blueprint to scale to 400 tpd of capacity across Portugal. HyOrc states the modular architecture is designed to enable rapid deployment and to generate near-term cash flow as additional modules and funding are secured.
