Hyperion Robotics
Espoo, Southern Finland, Finland, Europe
Overview
Hyperion Robotics combines robotics, automation and artificial intelligence to manufacture infrastructure components in factory settings located close to project sites. Its Forge platform integrates design, structural engineering, code compliance, robotics and factory operations into a single system that controls its robotic microfactories. The company says its approach can produce components up to three times faster, reduce costs by up to 50%, cut carbon emissions by up to 70% and use up to 75% less material compared with conventional construction methods. With the new funding, Hyperion plans to scale microfactories across Europe and launch Forge I, its first UK facility in Flixborough near Scunthorpe, in partnership with LKAB. The company intends to serve sectors including energy, utilities, water, data centres and carbon capture while continuing development of the Forge platform.
