HyperVerge builds cloud-based image recognition systems that analyze and organize photos across devices using deep learning and convolutional neural networks. Its technology recognizes faces, scenes, documents, business cards and other visual patterns to categorize photo albums by context. The systems also help identify and delete poor-quality photos, duplicates and other unwanted images. The company is developing a mobile application called Silver that will automatically organize images on users' phones. HyperVerge was founded in 2014 and is led by CEO Kedar Kulkarni. The company has said it will use new funding to support expansion in the U.S.
