The company is New York-based and is led by Erika Mozes and Joshua Karam. Hyr is a member of the MaRS Venture Growth Program in Toronto and of Newark Venture Partners Labs. It raised $1.3m in the latest round, bringing total funding to $2.4m. The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its geographic coverage.
