HysetCo develops and operates fleets of hydrogen-powered vehicles and builds hydrogen refueling stations to support intensive mobility uses. The company currently runs more than 800 hydrogen vehicles and reports roughly 90 million kilometers driven without emissions since 2021. It has attracted strategic industrial investors—Air Liquide, TotalEnergies and Toyota—and in a prior round nearly €200 million was raised with participation from Hy24. The new convertible loan from Uber is intended to accelerate deployment of hydrogen taxis within Uber’s taxi and Business Taxi services. Uber aims for HysetCo vehicles to make up one in five Business Taxi cars by year-end and for the fleet to reach 5,000 hydrogen taxis within five years. HysetCo is positioned as a leader in hydrogen mobility in France.
