Hysolate

7 Totzeret Ha'aretz St, Tel Aviv, 6789104, Israel

Overview

Hysolate offers an Isolated Workspace-as-a-Service (IWaaS) that instantly deploys local, VM-based, OS-isolated environments on user endpoints and manages them from the cloud. The IWaaS includes fine-grained networking, clipboard and data security policies, access control, application management, and workforce-wide insights while delivering a native-like user experience. It can be deployed at scale in minutes without installing or managing an additional OS and is positioned to eliminate VDI/DaaS data center costs. The solution targets remote-first companies and enterprises needing secure corporate access from unmanaged devices while preserving employee productivity. Hysolate plans to use new funding to accelerate development and go-to-market efforts for the IWaaS offering. The company is backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Innovation Endeavor, Team8 and Planven Capital, and the release references market demand supported by a Team8/Hysolate CISO survey noting widespread expectation of continued remote work. Hysolate offers a platform that turns end-user devices into software-defined endpoints by running multiple isolated virtual machines on each device, enabling secure access to websites, apps, external devices and cloud services without exposing corporate assets. Applications automatically launch in the correct virtual environment and present to users as a familiar Windows desktop. The solution is designed to protect endpoints from cyberattacks while boosting end-user productivity. Led by CEO and co-founder Tal Zamir, the company was launched by Team8. Hysolate closed an $18M Series B and plans to use the funds to accelerate adoption of the Hysolate Platform, expand its market presence, and continue building its global customer base. Hysolate built a platform based on a patented virtual air gap that splits an endpoint into two isolated operating systems: an unlocked OS for full user freedom and a locked-down OS for accessing enterprise resources. The architecture delivers a seamless end-user experience while trapping attackers in one OS so they cannot reach sensitive assets, including against malware or Windows zero-day exploits. The company announced its launch out of stealth and the public release of its first product. Hysolate says it is working with some of the largest enterprises globally, including major banks, technology vendors and financial services providers. The company is Tel Aviv–based and also maintains offices in New York City. Founders include Tal Zamir, a veteran of an elite Israeli cyber unit and former R&D leader at Wanova (acquired by VMware), and Dan Dinnar, former CEO of HexaTier (acquired by Huawei) and an executive sales officer at CyberArk.
