The company targets the roughly $8 billion domestic household solar panel market in Japan. Led by CEO Kazuyuki Uemura, IACC raised $2m in funding to strengthen its market position. The firm intends to use the funds to consolidate its lead through the Green-EnergyNavi portal and to launch a new venture focused on the electric power distribution market as that market becomes deregulated in Japan in 2016.
