i2invest is a Zurich-based fintech founded in 2015 that develops software to collect, standardise and evaluate investment data from marketplace lending platforms. Its core product aggregates and normalises data across lending marketplaces to help professional investors access and manage multiple lending platforms. The startup has begun offering investment and software solutions for professional investors who want to invest in marketplace lending or implement their own investment strategies. Proceeds from a recent seed round will be used to further develop the software, expand the team and support two new fund projects launching this fall. One fund will focus on financing loans with recoverable collateral such as car, agricultural and software development loans. The other project will partner with a Liechtenstein asset manager to bundle SME loans from Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland into a single fund. Christopher Bödker, known for establishing Akina, joined i2invest’s board as part of the financing.
