Iagnosis is developing a virtual office platform to support direct-to-consumer skin care and markets itself as a teledermatology and digital-technology company. The company says it aims to provide accessible, affordable expert care using technology that is simple and available to most consumers. Iagnosis is based in McMurray, Pennsylvania; its regulatory filing lists CEO Mark Seraly and COO Lawrence Eakin. Seraly is also behind another telemedicine company, DermatologistOnCall. A regulatory document shows Iagnosis raised $1 million from 11 investors, with the first sale dated Feb. 15. Eakin's LinkedIn description frames the company's mission in disruptive, market-leading terms; he did not immediately return a call.
